Assessing our students is implemented in alignment with the Australian
Curriculum. Students are assessed at various stages throughout the term, which
may include diagnostic, monitoring and summative assessments. Teachers attend
moderation with other schools at the end of each term to ensure consistency of
assessment and reporting is maintained.
Students in Years 3 and 5 sit the NAPLAN testing in May each year. This
informs the student’s progression throughout their schooling and how they
achieve against the Nation, State and Like schools.
Reporting is completed at the end of Term 2 and term 4 with 3 Way Conferencing
(Parent, Teacher, Student) occurring at the beginning of Term 1 and Term 3.
