A chaplaincy program is a service at our school to provide students, staff and parents with support without a religious and/or spiritual component. Chaplaincy services provide an additional adult role model in schools. Our school chaplain, (Chappy Mel) has been with us since the start of the year and is a well liked and respected member of Keppel Sands State School and community.
The school also receives additional teacher aide time to work with our students who require support.
The school funds additional teacher aide time to assist with student improvement in identified key learning areas.
With only 24 students and so much additional support, our students have been showing a marked improvement across all learning areas.
